Under his leadership, The Penny Hoarder has grown from a personal blog to one of the largest publications on the web with more than 10 million readers a month. The Penny Hoarder has pioneered a new kind of personal finance media with stories about real people and actionable money tips that make a true difference in our readers’ budgets.

Kyle is active in local politics after spending nearly six years on the road as a campaign worker crafting media strategy, directing field workers, and raising millions of dollars for important causes. He feels passionately that people should earn a liveable wage no matter what their job.

Alexis Grant

Executive Editor

As Executive Editor, Alexis oversees the editorial and marketing teams. She grows The Penny Hoarder’s newsroom, hiring and training staff writers, building a network of contributors around the globe, and developing the company’s editorial strategy.

Alexis’ background is in traditional journalism; she worked as a full-time journalist for U.S. News & World Report and the Houston Chronicle before transitioning to digital publishing. In 2010, she founded Socialexis, a content marketing firm later acquired by Taylor Media.

Alexis is a graduate of Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, an upstate New York native, and resides in Washington, D.C. with her family.

Vishal Mahtani

VP of Business Operations

Vishal manages the sales and ad operation teams at Taylor Media. In addition to the day-to-day execution, he is integral to developing long-term business strategy, establishing partnerships with key brands and distribution partners, and creating a proprietary ad tech platform.

Vishal has a distinguished 13-year career in digital marketing with valuable expertise in maximizing ROI by aligning digital strategy and business strategy within growth corporations and start-up environments. He's the former co-founder and CEO of Kindermint, which was acquired by ThredUp.

Vishal is an active resident of the Tampa Bay Area, acting as an advisory board member for a number of local companies, including Yoga International and Raw Shorts. When he’s not generating business, you can bet Vishal's either on his workbench building his next invention or spending quality time with his family.
